The load is evenly distributed and the pack sits comfortably with no pressure points. The shoulder strap construction with "soft neck" offers additional comfort in the neck area. The packs of the CROSSTRAIL product range benefit from a newly developed version of the extremely successful JACK WOLFSKIN ACS back system. Since its introduction in 1991, the classic air control system has stood for advanced ventilation, comfort and air conditioning. Comfort is increased by the air mesh fabric, which has large pores for optimal ventilation. There is a gap between the mesh back wall and the body of the pack. Through this gap, the sweat is drained away more effectively and the back stays dry. This hiking backpack is not only good for your back, but also good for the environment. The air mesh fabric is sustainably produced and dyed using our innovative, waterless FUTURE DYE process. This saves 10 liters of water per pack. The lining is made entirely of polyester. With the CROSSTRAIL on your back, everything is safely stowed away and easy to access. For example, your water bottle can be stowed in the fold-out bottle holster on the hip belt so that you can grab it when you need it. The package benefits from a comprehensive list of extremely practical features. With multiple packaging options - a separate front pocket, elastic mesh pouches on the front and sides, lashing loops for a set of trekking poles, and a pocket in the lid for small items - you can take everything you need for a day on the trail with you.
